Measuring dynamic torque without contact and without inertia - it works!

The intensification of the electrification of motor vehicles will have a strong impact on the development of engines and their components.

And the aeronautics industry should also be more or less largely impacted in this area.

The variety of technologies seems to require better characterization of torque and horsepower. The thematic presentation that we propose concerns the measurement of the dynamic torque without contact on an electric machine.

In this project, two French companies put their technical know-how into the measure to respond in an innovative way to the need for a third which was to characterize the torque of the developing electric machine.
